A couple days ago, this is what I woke up to:
It was in the low 70s, the air was clean and crisp, the wonderful smell of rain permeated the area, and the view from my porch was awesome. The whole thing was irresistible. Not the “I call it irresistible, but I resisted so it clearly wasn’t” kind of irresistible, but kind where several times I tried to go inside to work and couldn’t bring myself to do it. Instead I grabbed a book and sat on the porch reading and enjoying nature. It was awesome!
And it was definitely worth the couple hours of missed work.
